Satish Jha’s career has spanned academic, journalistic, executive and entrepreneurial roles. He started out as one of the youngest national editors with The Indian Express followed by an Editorship with The Times of India Group.
Satish led the global information management for the chemicals division of Hoffmann-La Roche, after which he cofounded James Martin & Co (now Genpact), META Group India, Digital Partners (now Grameen Technology). He seeded, advised and mentored a couple of dozen social enterprises including Tarahaat.com and Drishtee.com, founded One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) India and serves as Chairman of Ecco Electronics. He was invited to chair and mentor Solvytech (owners of Zopper) which has gone through rounds of funding, raising $20 Million in 2014 and is currently valued at over $100 Million. He has also established Ashcroft Sullivan Jha with Ashcroft Sullivan EDC, a firm founded by former US Attorney General John Ashcroft.
An alumnus of The Fletcher School, ISS at The Hague, the Kennedy School and EDHEC, France Satish is an active commentator on political and economic concerns in various media platforms in India.

Jim started his career at global ad agency Ogilvy & Mather in NY and San Francisco, working with Microsoft, American Express, Ameriprise, and CSX Rail followed by an SVP role with Arnold Worldwide in Boston leading client services for Fidelity, Bose, Ford Motor Credit and CSX Rail. Jim then joined Fleet Financial (now Bank of America) as SVP Marketing and as a chief marketing officer at two technology companies, Foliage Software and FundQuest/BNP Paribas. He headed up financial and high technology industry marketing, a $400 million business, at Akamai Technologies with revenue growth of 30+%, three years in a row.
Jim received his MBA at the Darden School at the University of Virginia, and his BA in English from the University of Virginia.

At MDT, Mr. Berman ran the Venture Investments Group and served on the Boards of Directors of many public and private companies such as Mercury Computer Systems, Helix, Arch Communications Group, Arthur D. Little, Keurig, Wright Express and IVS.
In 1990, Mr. Berman initiated the development of the Optimum Q domestic equity quantitative model that beat the S&P 500 by more than 450 basis points compounded over fifteen years, and was one of 30 products included in Smith Barney's top tier investment platform. The firm was acquired by Harris Bretall Sullivan & Smith L.L.C. in 2002, bringing Mr. Berman to Harris Bretall's Board of Directors, Management Committee and Strategy Team. Mr Berman retired in 2005, when Harris Bretall was sold to Federated, Inc.
He then co-founded a development company in Lincoln, New Hampshire and currently serves as a director on several private company boards. Prior to joining MDT Advisers, Inc., Mr. Berman had co-founded the Mariposa School in 1970, a private elementary and high school, and in 1974, the Mendocino County Recycling Center, both located in Ukiah, California. The Recycling Center was noted as the first in the country to offer residential curbside pick-up. In 1978, Mr. Berman was the General Manager and Publisher of Solar Age Magazine. He co-founded Helio Construction in 1979, a passive solar design and construction company, which he owned and operated until its sale in 1982.
Mr. Berman received his BA in English from Stanford University in 1970, and his MBA from Harvard Graduate School of Business in 1984, with the distinction of being a Baker Scholar.
